She's more special than that. She's a Tribrid. Daughter of Klaus and Hayley (Hybrids) and granddaughter of the most powerful witch, probably ever where we're from.
Bloodhound doesn't begin to describe it.
Speaking of. I know we tabled the Hayley discussion but she'll be able to smell something, too, if she hasn't already.
Add it to the cycle back to pile? Or, I'll take a Q and A right now. Or, before your opening shift. Got anything going on before you go in today?
He's like a bad penny, even in conversation, even in a whole universe and five years away.
We? How do you think she'll take it if we both set her aside and give her the talk? She closes tonight. I can do it or you can do it. And forced honesty not needed? I'd rather you did it since you two have the temple history.
Oh you actually want a list? Okay Professor Salvatore
I guess Klaus is a good place to start. Bad penny. How bad?
Not hybrid stuff, though. "There was an alternate version of me who lived in your world, knew you as a kid and became Alex's sister" stuff. Do we just call that Duplicity stuff? I don't know. I feel like it's its own category.
You even spelled it right. I don't get the gif but it makes me laugh.
Klaus Mikaelson. One of the Original vampires. Once a secret werewolf, his mom (Hope's grandmother) made her sons and daughter vampires. Something about them being in danger. Think of Klaus as your paranoid great grandfather. All he wanted to do was unleash his werewolf side. So, he lied about a curse to try and fetter out the only means in which he could trigger his werewolf. He's a reason why things sucked in Mystic Falls for awhile. Tantrums, violent outbursts, and manipulation. All of Klaus' proclivities.
Also, Hope's father.
That's What? Like some parallel past life? Yeah. Repay her for breaking my brain.
You're the kind of guy who sends memes online, aren't you?
So okay, this guy's a dick, but he somehow got with a girl like Hayley and they had a daughter who's basically a good person despite worrying blackmail tendencies
How did you end up on actual good terms with him and his?
Parallel alternate life, I guess. But it's weird. Plus she was married to Max's doppelganger, and she knows stuff about me that I've never told her Which I guess Alex has It's weird to be so connected to someone who's basically a stranger. That's all.
A discovery I recently made and really like. Are you the kind of guy who doesn't like them?
Good terms is stretchy. It started with Hayley. She helped me out after first getting here. Hope and I met over the network first. Hayley and Hope aren't Klaus. Elijah, Rebekah. Middling terms? Rebekah's just a teenager in a thousand year old's body and Elijah, well, you know. And if you didn't? Elijah, Rebekah, and Klaus are all over a thousand years old. Only Klaus is a hybrid.
One I tolerate being here.
Married to I knew things with Hayley were complicated but not this much.
No. I think it's cute, and I'm not sorry for saying so
Wait, so Rebekah? I think I been talking to her I didn't know she was part of this whole network, how the hell many members of this family are here?
Hayley showed me a pic of Not Max It's weird. It seems like Tyler's not the only crossover. For all I know there's some alternate version of you in my world. Wouldn't hate that, FYI
LIES has a hard-on for the Mikaelsons? Not the person to ask. I'm here with my sister-in-law and her kid's here, too. Her sister was here for a month. Oh, and Hope and Josie, Caroline's daughter are dating. I'm not supposed to know.
But I do.
Who knows what alternate me would be like. Modern me, not 1800's Civil War deserter me.
I mean, I guess I should've thought of that Civil War. Actually Maybe this should be an in-person thing Q+A about you, personally, probably shouldn't be by text
You know where I live. I'm in the home office upstairs.
( No, Michael doesn't have a key, but isn't his telekinesis like a key? If Michael needs it, he's sure he'll knock. Or, just come in through the back from the beach. There are multiple entrances into his and Caroline's (and Jeff's) shared home.
Then again, those doors to the backyard might be locked, too.
[ It takes a minute, because he has to deal with elevators, and avoiding SIN guards, and get through the Up to get to the beach, and god he really just needs to get a contract to make this easier. That needs to be an agenda item.
Later. Maybe.
Anyway, he gets there. Seeing as he has an invite, and everything, locks don't seem to prove a problem. He gets as far as the home office itself before he knocks, lightly, to make sure Damon's not busy before he walks straight on in. ]
( Damon looks up, and, yeah, he has reading glasses on with his device propped up. He holds a hand out, waving his fingers for Michael to come in. )
Yeah, tomorrow is good. We'll iron out post-Archie details. Sounds -- yeah. Sounds sexy. Awesome. Thanks, Ira.
( He taps his device, pinching the bridge of his nose. ) Ira. Our fish guy. Jewish polygamist. Archie's notes say he's handsy so, I have that to look forward to. ( He takes his reading glasses off, sliding out of the chair. ) I'm taking more meetings and I thought they'd make me look more like the owner.
( But right now he is, the kisser. Specifically, the guy kissing Michael hello by the chair. )
Interrupting my work, Roswell. This better be about getting extra credit.
[ Michael's against him, and it's comfortable and easy, and god it's been a long time since he could say that about a person. It's nice, and he leans into it, hands running around to Damon's back. ]
I'm not gonna judge you.
[ For, basically anything. War is hell. That particular war was famously hell, brother against brother. He's glad that Damon survived it. ]
You didn't run away, you probably wouldn't be standing here. How old were you, Damon?
( It's not something he's felt in a long time, this open or safe with someone. He's growing into letting himself relax into this routine. Into letting someone in. )
24, Michael.
( His lips wrap around the M, admitting the age he was when he'd not only abandoned the cause, but returned, met Katherine and died later that year. )
[ It's South enough, Michael thinks. Would've been, during the Civil War. ]
Roswell.
[ Which might mean something. It's not like the town ever shied away from its heritage.
It's also still weird to be talking about this. He's only done it once before. ]
We crashed in '47, but the three of us were in pods. We woke up fifty years later, three 7 year olds in the desert. Whatever happened before, I don't remember. I can't tell you where home really is, so yeah. For now, Roswell's all I got.
1947. ( Just to be specific. He's in Michael's hands and Michael is in his. They could move to the desk, or out of the office altogether, but here they stand, just talking. ) You, Max, and, is the third alien here, too? Your other sibling?
